Plan B Projects are the collaborative and individual efforts of Plan B partners.

One of the most important concepts behind Plan B is to continually work toward building a community based network of diverse people, organizations, and projects in order to facilitate creative solutions to persistent cultural problems.

Imagine Grinnell Energy Program
The mission of Imagine Grinnell Energy Program is to build a sustainable, city wide program that will increase energy efficiency measures among all residences and businesses, and increase the use of energy from renewable sources.



New Bohemia Solar Project

Located in the "New Bohemia" neighborhood of Cedar Rapids, NewBo Solar provides 7200 watts of renewable electricity, serves as an educational tool and provides avisual symbol of the neighborhoods rebirth.


Union of Concerned Scientists

UCS augments rigorous scientific analysis with innovative thinking and committed citizen advocacy to build a cleaner, healthier environment and a safer world.  Rich serves as a consultant to UCS on renewable energy issues.


ArtBikes

After a hiatus from the first ArtBikes project, We hope to bring ArtBikes back in 2007.


GAPRI

The Grinnell Area replacement Initiative will help educate area businesses and residents about alternatives to petroleum products, promote the use of those products, and assist in expanding local business development in the field of bio-products.


Beaming Bioneers

Grinnell has been chosen to be one of the communities across the U.S. to host a satellite-linked confererence on sustainable community.
