We were luck to find a restaurant owner who had been saving his oil for a few months - it gave us enough to get a few batches rolling.

Our prototype wash-water filter - water heats in solar barrel - residual methanol evaporates and biodiesel separates on the top.
 Water drains to a sand filter - The cattails don't look too happy. I think we need a third stage for the water plants.
